QR Code Link to This Post 1981 GL-1100 Standard Gold Wing that I bought from Bucyrus, Ohio in March of 2024. It had a very ugly Vetter fairing on the front which I removed and used the head light and bought new turn signals for the front. The rear grab bar and the new front fork cover (HONDA) from e-bay for $100.00 each. All new on the bike are valve cover gaskets, brake pads, air filter, fuel filter, Petcock valve, windshield, oil and filter change, rear gear oil change. The starter has been refurbished, rebuilt front master cylinder, rebuilt rear caliper and front calipers, and carb's have been done at the local Honda shop. (over $1000.00 just for that.) Bike has 15,944 miles on it. It had 13,728 when I bought it. It still had the original tires on it. The color according to Honda is Candy Grandeur Blue Special. I've had a lot of compliments when I've had it out. Not bad for a 45 year old bike. I've got way more than $3500.00 in it , but am forced to sell. Somebody looking for an old wing won't be disappointed. No low ballers. Everything on the bike is 100% stock except for the wind shield.
